I’ve always preferred washing my car at home.

What annoyed me was having to drive to a car wash every time I wanted to clean it properly. It takes time, and if you want a really good wash, it gets expensive fast.

The problem is that washing at home without active foam can leave hard dirt on the paint, which can lead to swirl marks. But getting proper foam usually means buying a pressure washer, extra equipment and finding products that are actually safe for the paint.

That’s where the idea for OptiMate came from.

I wanted a simple way to wash a car properly at home — with quality active foam, without expensive equipment and without making the whole process complicated.
